Jimmy Choo

Me and the family (mum, dad and sis) had a shopping day together. We all had things in mind we needed or wanted and I can safely say that we all succeeded, plus more.

I had to share with you all my favourite purchase of the day.  Yes it invovles shoes....

As you may of gathered I am a bit of a shoeaholic, hence Choos in my blog name aka Jimmy Choo.  Everyone has their vices mine just happens to be shoes, handbags, anything really to do with fashion. Could have a lot worse vices right?

OK I am going to shut up know and just let you admire the beauty of my new Jimmy Choo's.

Sexy right - The wedges shouted at me to take them to Cannes when I go in the summer I couldn't say no, it would be rude right?

And the sling backs were so elegant and beautiful plus amazingly comfortable. Finding beautiful shoes which are also comfortable is a rarity so couldn't miss that opportunity of finding a pair like it.

My parents know it is a mistake taking me into any shops but especially shoe shops, but they too got dragged in by the array of wonderful shoes, what can I say I must be their daughter ;)

Think I might just stare at them all weekend ;)

Hope you all have a good weekend.

Browns - Fatal Attraction - DSTRKT

This weekend was a jam packed one for me. I think I managed to fit in the bank holiday weekend as much as any one could possibly do? Though I am happy to try and beat it for the next one ;)

My weekend started off with going to London and meeting up with my good friend C. We had  a lot planed for the next few days and were rather excited.

It started off with a bit of shopping on route to our first destination. Luckily for us the route we needed to take meant we had to walk down Bond street :)

Oh look we stumbled onto one of our favourite restaurant/bar Mews. Would be rude not to stay and have a drink - we were early anyway for our other booking so made sense.

I love this place, great for a summers afternoon/early evening.

I have never eaten here, only had drinks which are divine. You can see here a passion fruit cocktail, lets just say it wasn't there for long.

C says the restaurant in the court yard before Mews is amazing and that we have to try that next time for lunch or Dinner its called Hush. They are both off Bond street behind Victoria Secrets.

Our next stop which we were en route to before our sneaky cocktail was afternoon tea at Browns Hotel.

Browns is my all time favourite place for afternoon tea, its traditional with a modern twist, very English and a wonderful pianist playing whilst you enjoy the numerous amounts of tea, sandwiches, scones, pastries and champagne.

I just love it.

If you have never done afternoon tea, I would definitely recommend going to Browns it is what everyone expects afternoon to be like. If you have done afternoon tea but never tried here, you don't know what you are missing.

As I mentioned briefly we opted for the champagne version which comes to £50 and just Tea is £42.

After filling ourselves up to the brim we headed off back to C's to go get ready for our exciting evening ahead.

Here is what I wore during the day

Zara shirt, Asos jeans, Monica Vinader pendant and rings. C has a great mirror for "selfies" so I made the most of it ;)

We were getting ready to head out to the theatre to watch Fatal Attraction at Royal Haymarket. I have been waiting to see this since I have heard it was on the West End. C is a huge fan of Kristin Davis, she sees herself as Charlotte from Sex and the City.

As I said making the most of C's great mirror -  Here is what I wore for the theatre and afterwards.

Arr so cute pictures together before we head out. Me and C are notoriously known for never taking pictures, especially when we went travelling together. So one of our New Year resolutions was to take more pics.

Oh and C changed just before we stepped out the door, so this isn't what she wore in the end. C went for a cobalt blue dress instead.

Tried to take a quick picture before the show started - don't think I am made to be a photographer anytime soon.

Royal Haymarket Theatre is just such an exquisite place, the interior just takes your breathe away. One of the things I love about London, all the history, culture and charm of the theatres.

The play was amazing, had me on the edge of my seat. Natascha was thrilling psychotic and Kirsten was a great scorned woman. Mark you hated from the word go - his character not him.  I highly recommend going to see this, you don't stop talking about afterwards.

After the thrilling play, we whisked ourselves of to one of the top restaurant and club around in London at the moment -  DSTRKT.

DSTRKT is a restaurant and club. Yaneff is the well known and highly acclaimed Chef which the restaurant is named after and the club is literately the room next door.

The whole place is buzzing, you feel like "Yes this is the place to be", very chic. It has a New York feel to the place, which is where the idea for the place surprisingly came from.

The restaurant feels as if you are already in the club, it has an amazing DJ playing, insane lighting and a buzzing atmosphere, the whole place just feels 'cool and hip' - Yes I also just cringed when I used those words, but that's how it was.

So the whole atmosphere and decor has won me over already, but my dad who had recommended this place had told me the food is delicious. I was not disappointed. The food is divine, if you took all the facade away, the food on its own would make the place.

Good job I am not a food blogger as I would fail miserably. This was the only picture I took of all 6 plates of food we had, I just couldn't wait to get stuck in.  The food is styled by small plates from the Sea, Land and Vegetarian. The waiter suggests 6 would be good between the 2 of us. But most people opt for the taster menu which you can choose from 3 versions.

Oh and did I mention that there cocktails are great too.

I had to go for desert as the description already had my mouth watering: Chocolate truffles served with raspberry mouse, chocolate crumble, edible gold and fresh raspberries.  Lets just say you are lucky I got a picture at all as quite soon after there was nothing there at all.

After our wonderful dinner, we made our way to DSTRKT's club the room next door and down a few steps.

You can see why the club is No 1 in London and the place everyone wants to be and seen at. It just shouts glamour, chic, fun and insane.

I love how it is not a big place and they don't over fill it with people. The tables and VIP area is divine and the DJ is out of this world. I can honestly say the best DJ I have ever heard. The service is impeccable keeping to the standards of the restaurant.

Overall one of the best nights out. Already organised to go back there with other friends, let them in on the secret. It is another world.

After our epic night, brunch was needed by all.  C wanted to go to one of her favourite places for brunch - The Delaunay.

Ok as I have said previously I am not a food blogger, so forgive me that I realised half way through my blueberry pancakes that I should take a pic.

At least I remembered before it had all gone.  It definitely hit the spot.

We got in just before, everyone else did thankfully.

Over all a great weekend was had by all. Happy to repeat ASAP!

Stay tuned as Monday was just as fabulous and involves shoe porn, keep an eye out for it.

Hope you all had a good bank holiday weekend? would love to here about it.
