Today I thought I should share with you things that I discovered before I started this blog that I think you should know about.
This one was a great one to reminisce over.....
For C's 21st just after graduating, the summer of 2012 just before me and her headed of on our amazing travels together. We had a great weekend celebrating her Birthday.
First of for the day we went to The Boodles Tennis held at Stoke Park. An impressive venue. C's parents are members their so we started of with Brunch before the tennis started. Then after a Champagne filled brunch we headed over to watch the Tennis, followed with a couple of jugs of Pimms. It was a celebration might as well go all out ;) Once the Tennis was over we finished off the lovely day with afternoon tea before heading back to get ready for the night time celebrations.
So after a fun filled day, we headed back to get ready for dinner. Might I just say once your plans are put into action you never have the time you allocate for in between, so the outfit change turned out had to be a quick one. And adding to the fact that there was a few of us and we were a little ahem lets just say champagne and Pimms all day might of slowed us down. I was surprised we all managed to get ready and get their in time for where we needed to be at the next location of the fun filled weekend.
The next stop was The Crazy Bear Bar and restaurant, they have a couple in London and a couple in Beaconsfield, all of which are different cuisines. We went to the Thia one in Beaconsfield.
OK so at this point I wasn't blogging and we were a little bit excited and distracted so the picture above and below are not mine but I thought you needed to see how cool this place was, the others are mine which I apologise for the quality.
This place was beyond cool, it's like nothing I have ever been to before, inside was Asian chic very glam with a bit of Moroccan thrown in. The outside was LA meets Morocco, that in it self was uber chic. Definitely some where we need to go back to, and have a roof top party. They have Moroccan tents and fire pits and it goes on, on and on.
The cocktails are great, they are rather expensive same price you expect in London around £12.50 for a cocktail.
You know when your are in a cool place when the restrooms are impressive in themselves. These were insane. First of its a bit of a mission to find the door to the restrooms, especially when you are a little bit tipsy ;) The whole wall where the door is, is covered with big mirrors with no indication of where the door is, so you just have to push all parts of the wall, which I might add goes on for a bit, then you strike gold and hope its the door you need. Once inside, it's like your in some fantasy world, again with a bit of alcohol adding into the equation its rather fun. The whole restroom is covered with smalls mirrors floor to ceiling. Oh and there is a gap that runs all the way across the sinks, which we found out leads to the men's toilets. A very quirky, cool, chic and fun restroom.
As you can see we spent a rather long time in the restroom, taking lots of pics and just trying to find our way out ;)
If you are ever in the area of Beaconsfield I highly recommend going to The Crazy Bear Thai, I haven't tried the English one which is opposite, nor have I tried the ones in London, so can't guarantee what they are like.
Hope you all had a fab weekend and that your Dads had a great Fathers Day.
Jo XOXO
