What to wear on a lunch date?

OK so this post is a bit of a girly chat today, something you would probably see in Sex And The City god I do love that programme. In actual fact I am watching it as I write this, hoping it might give me inspiration for what I am about the tell you...

Tomorrow I am going on my second date with this guy I have started to see. Due to both our hectic schedules it is a lunch date so I can't do the usual evening attire impress outfit. Need to be a bit more subtle. Which has got me all in a fizz of what to wear ahhhahah........


So I thought I could share my predicament with you all and maybe help some of you guys out there who too have the same problem.

OK so we are going for lunch on a lake as it is suppose to be sunny and hot, people have said its very picturesque, I have never been to this place before, but been told is very good.

Here are the ideas and thoughts I have come up with:

As it is going to be sunny I was going the route of a nice summer dress.

I know these aren't the best pics for showcasing one of the dresses I was thinking of wearing, but I thought it was nice and summer, pretty and a little bit sexy, but suitable for day as well.

Another option I have.

Can't go wrong with ASOS 

I also have some good French Connection numbers which are possibilities? 

This look is a little bit more edgy then my usual, more my sisters style, did I mention it was my sisters from Urban Outfitters ;)

And you can't go wrong with good old Topshop

These are the options I have. Now I just need to make a decision. Knowing me I will change my mind numerous times before I decide and most likely chuck some more options in there to make it even harder. But hey that's all part of the fun and excitement with dating.

Any of you have suggestions of good shops and on line places for great date outfits for future reference?
